This analytical dashboard was designed to inform about the status of an international ad campaign on social media. At the top level it gives an at-a-glance information over the performance in all markets. The top KPI numbers adjust once the user drills down to an individual market.

Graphical elements like flags, maps, charts and diagrams are balanced to reduce visual density and facilitate a quick and easy analysis of trends  and developments in each market.

The mobile format enables workers in a shipyard to follow and assess the current conditions of all ongoing vessel operations.

The display of complex data within the limited screen size of a phone was mitigated by the tab and swipe interactions unique to mobile devices. Vertical scrolling lets the user select a specific Vessel, Crane or KPI. Horizontal scrolling reveals all available information for that item like historical development or progress of all associated activities.

The GEO Tracker offers a live view of the current location of all trucks serving in the supply chain for grocery markets around Europe.

The dynamic zoom in on the performance of a single truck maintains the geographic context of the entire fleet. This makes it more intuitive for the user to identify possible bottlenecks or locating nearby trucks for assistance. Graphical overlays show contact information of drivers and store owners or provide relevant data to quickly address delays.

Each step in the shunting sequence can be inspected or managed in edit mode. The consist is color coded according to an arriving or departing train for a quick visual identification and management. An inspector above provides further details of the rolling stock currently selected.

This design uses color and shape for an instant assessment of how a complex workflow was executed. Blue hues represent steps belonging to phase one whereas orange hues indicate steps of phase two. At a glance one can determine the quality of implementation through the sequence of blues and oranges. Connected blocks convey start and ending points and duration.

The positioning of the two shapes at the bottom instantly tell if delays might have caused any issues or  performance indicators to turn red.

A stowage planner has to quickly assign positions of up to thousands of containers on to a cargo ship. The graphical UI of the planning tool permits an intuitive interaction flow for a fast and efficient execution of a redundant task. The design combines a customizable labelling system, simple table layouts with multiple edit modes and mouse actions like double click or click and drag.

The design for this optimization program had to accommodate long calculation times in the background without locking up the application. Therefore a scenario queue was integrated next to a simplistic table centric layout. While the user can keep
